“o servants of Allah! Seek treatment for. Allah did not create a disease without creating a cure, therefore except one disease (which is) death.” At-Tirmizy, Al-Hakim, and Ibn Khuzaimah considered it to be an authentic hadith. In another narration he said, ‘Except As-Sa’am’’ which is death.


“There is a remedy for every disease and when the remedy is applied to the disease it is cured with the permission of ALLAH/ the Exalted”. Recorded by Muslim.


“Verily, Allah made the disease and the cure, and he made for each disease a cure. So, seek treatment but do not seek it with unlawful (matters).’’ Recorded by Abu Dawud.


“It is among the destiny of Allah, the Exalted.” Recorded by Ibn Maja.


“Healing is in three things: a gulp of honey, cupping, and branding with fire (cauterizing). But I forbid my nation from cauterizing.” (Authentic Hadith)


“The best thing you can seek for treatment is cupping.” Al-Albany remarked on his hadith in Ash-Shama’il.


“The best thing you can seek for treatment is cupping and phlebotomy.” In another hadith,


“Healing is in three things: a gulp of honey, cupping, and branding with fire (cauterizing). But I forbid my nation from cauterizing.” Recorded by Al-Bukhary, At-Tibb, vol, 10, hadith no 5680.


“If there is any healing in your medicines, then it is in cupping, a gulp of honey or branding with fire (cauterization) that suits the ailment, but I don’t like to be (cauterized) branded with fire.” Recorded by Al-Bukhary.



“Whenever I passed by a group of angels, on my night journey, they said, O Muhammad! Order your people to practice cupping.” Recorded in Sahih Al-Jami, hadith no 5671.



“pass by a group of angels but they ordered him to order his nation of cupping.”  Good strange hadith, At-Tibb, hadith no 1977.



“Verily, cupping is among your best remedies.”  (hadith no 19340) he also recorded his saying,



“This is among the best people ever sought treatment with” (Al-Basriyyin, hadith no 19237, authentic hadith)



“None ever complained to the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) of a headache but he told him to get himself cupped, or of a pain in his legs but he told him to dye them (with henna).” Recorded by Dawud, Al-Tibb. This hadith is accepted concerning the text-related appendages. Al-Hakim considered it to be authentic in Al-Mustadrak, vol 4, hadith no, 206.



“If it is anything (that heals), then it is in cupping, black cumin, a gulp of honey or branding with fire (cauterization) that suits the ailment, but I don’t like to be cauterized.” Recorded by Ibn Jarir and Al-Hakim in Al-Mustadrak. He considered it to be authentic, vol. 4, hadith no.209, and the text has authentic books.



“If there is healing, then it is in cupping, a gulp of honey or branding with fire (cauterization) that pains, but I don’t like to be cauterized.” Recorded by Ahmad and At-Tabarany. The narrators are those of authentic books except suwaid bin Qais who is trusted.



“Whoever spilt this (bad) blood will not suffer if he did not apply any medical treatment for any disease.” Recorded by Ibn Majah and it has appendages in the hadith narrated by Abdur-Rahman bin Khalid. Recorded by Ibn Sa’ad (vol. 1, hadith no. 446); At-Tabarany in Al-Kabir, Ibn As-Sakan, and by Ibn Jarir in Tahzib Al-Athar. The hadith is good with the will of Allah.



“If there is anything in what you use for healing that suits or seeks (treating) the disease, then it is in cupping.” Recorded by Ibn Jarir in Tahzib Al-Athar and its men are trusted.



“O Muhammad! Practice cupping.” Recorded in Sahih Al-Jami no. 5672.



“The best medicines you may treat yourselves with are cupping and sea incense.’ He added, ‘Do not torture your boys by treating tonsillitis by pressing the tonsils or the palate with the finger but use incense.” Recorded by Al-Bukhary, At-Tibb, hadith no. 5263 and by Muslim.
